What affects the cost of a new kitchen?
- Size and number of units. More cabinets, more worktop and more appliances all add up.
- Quality of units and worktops. Flat-pack budget ranges cost a fraction of solid timber or handmade cabinetry; laminate worktops a fraction of quartz or granite.
- Appliances. Integrated and premium appliances add significantly to the total.
- Layout changes. Moving plumbing, gas or electrics, or knocking through to create open-plan space, adds building work.

Supply & fit or fit-only?
You have two main routes. With supply & fit, we design, supply and install the whole kitchen. With fit-only, you buy the kitchen yourself – from IKEA, Howdens, Wren or another retailer – and we install it. Where the money goes
- Units and worktops – usually the largest single cost.
- Appliances – oven, hob, extractor, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine.
- Labour – strip-out, fitting, and any plumbing and electrical work.
